Oliver Yamamoto is one of the few friends that Kana Kobayashi and has a crush on her since kindergarten. He is friends with Yui Komori, Gina Takenake, Hajime Suzuki, and Kyou Nakamura. He is half Japanese in his father's side and half American on his mother's and a younger sister.

Oliver is a very kind, honest, friendly, and sweet young man who cares deeply about his friends and family. Despite being the heir to his father's company, Oliver isn't spoiled and prefers to just hang out with his friends. Oliver can also act a bit goofy around his love interest Kana Kobayashi. However, out of all of them, Oliver is the most mature one in the group.

Oliver was born to a Japanese man and an American woman who were the owners of a very successful company. Oliver grew up with his loving parents and had a warm and loving childhood with them. When he was older enough, Oliver went to kindergarten where he met his long time crush and love interest Kana Kobayashi. Unfortunately, Kana was never aware about his feelings towards her instead she thought he just wanted to be friends with her and her best friend Yui Komori.
